Based on my own description, Social Media is: Any kind of online media to keep our social life.

I write this, in English, because I wanted to get involved – sharing to the whole wide world (yes, a.k.a www – LOL). What kind of sharing? Well, let’s make the limit for this one. First limit is, country coverage: Indonesia.

Next limit? Second is, popular Social Media. Third will be, habit. And the last as the fourth, will be, the impact.

Indonesia is – after all the sh*t it’s been through – a third world country, even though we won’t find Indonesia listed as third world country on the table. What table? A table, which gave me this sentence: The term Third World was originally coined in times of the Cold War to distinguish those nations that are neither aligned with the West (NATO) nor with the East, the Communist bloc. Today the term is often used to describe the developing countries of Africa, Asia, Latin America and Oceania. Many poorer nations adopted the term to describe themselves.

Popular social media here, are currently: Facebook and Twitter. In my own analogy of news-media, Facebook is sort of weekly (or even monthly) magazine. Meanwhile Twitter, is sort of daily newspaper. But, i recently learned the term of analyzing and buzzing – which gave a conclusion of, blogging activity is analyzing (yes, for you write something more than 420 characters on Facebook, and 140 on Twitter) and facebooking or twitting is buzzing.

Yes, i claimed myself as a lazy blogger – it’s so clear that, I like buzzing now (rather than analyzing). Here is another but. I read a few articles of Indonesian Blogger. Then I realized that, I write on a few places. Or even, I do that Photo Blog. Reasons of my first photo-blog was my first cellphone camera. So actually, I just have too many places to handle – LOL.

Hold on a sec, what was the purpose of the passage above? Habit. How could writing become a habit, when reading is not a popular habit. How could that happen? Indonesia people (wow, did I put myself as part oh ‘em? hahaha) likes passive activity: it’s better when the activities don’t require analyzing which could be meant – thinking is such a lot energy to use. First: Watching TV is preferable than reading – meanwhile Our National Channels are surely stupid in most programs. Second: Popular trash-reading-material are easy to find. What a good combination for us, Indonesia, to be more and more – stupid. This, could explain, the reason, why so many people here: are so reactive!

The passage above explain the habit, still happening – here, in Indonesia. That would continue to the: impact.

What impact? Let me try to explain. We used gadgets to communicate most, than to have a face-to-face communication. After all, it’s still a great thing to do: having a cup of coffee (or some beer) and a face-to-face-chat. Here, I have my last writing about it – especially when you wanted to differ the joy between Social Chat and Business Chat. Please welcome: Social Networking Sites to The Online Business.

A little more for the habit part. It is so, silly that you registered for an email account then it’s just gone away. I found out this from the accidental survey: my current (oh-a-little-bit-professional-paid-but-stupid-system)work on a restaurant brand on Fans Page (yeah, it’s that damn facebook guys). But good news is, I used my skill for Terminal Kopi (Coffee Terminal) – on that two-Indonesia-popular-social-media. Nope, I’m not promoting it – it’s in Bahasa Indonesia anyway guys. LOL.

Back to the impact session. Actually, on the other side, I’ve been thinking that Social Media is a good-enough way to filter: “to have interesting friend to keep in touch with” – and since that may sound oh-so-evil-I-am, let me add with, “to shorten the distance on communication”.

I’m currently having fun with this three things I mentioned above. Not movin-up ma ass here and there too much but those three. That’s my circle of enlightenment. And I spread the “light” to others: Ciroyom (the volunteers) and the boys who often read at Ultimus Library, and unmentioned others.

Shit happens, yes it always since we’re living up a life. Screw thing comes and goes. But I am standing still. Learning e-commerce and the fuck-up of globalization. Active on 2.0 groups and……. Hard to bubble-up further more.

It’s Indonesia I’m living in. People matter too much about religion, the theology. So I’m telling you guys, the statement from my friend. Whatever the religion, Budha is the belief. She (you may click on the subject to know her) said that it relates to Vipassana.

Vipassana is a way of self-transformation through self-observation. How about Universal Love?

That’s it, that’s the point. Love is the word itself. Wars and anarchy don’t go for love, they go for possessive. Love keeps this earth spinning, the sun shining, and the heart beating – until the time for them to die of course

We live to love, and we love to live, yet to love itself sometimes can be hard enough to do – especially for the Unconditional Love.

That shall be my own conclusion.

I love my country, Republik Indonesia, but most of the people who govern did not (sadly, they still don’t!) have this love.

And the least as the last, keep on loving ourselves. They who do not love themselves are just pathetic, for they keep on asking without accepting.

One of my friends did this about 2 years ago. Her name is Livana Pumadri, from Lampung, Sumatra, Indonesia.

She did that to improve her Germany Daily Conversation, since she was studying at Department of German Literature at Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, Jawa Barat, Indonesia.

It sounds interesting, you know, to get a homestay and learn from the native. It makes me want to learn Germany, instead of France. Beside, she said to learn Germany is easier than to learn France.

What ever. In my opinion, I need to increase my ability to get interact with children – LOL

But, get a way to learn Germany is one of my 20101 Project.

I wish for A Snowy December

To celebrate Religious Day, sometimes gives annoying result when Narrow Mind People do the act of Fanaticism for Religion. As I wrote on my twitter for my friend “religion effect to illogical people’s respond” – for they have religion as take it for granted.

So how about the No Snow Area In December?

Well, it happens in My Country – Indonesia, and also in Africa. I took Africa since I had a sweet memory of Shakira’s OST for World Cup of 2010 – Waka Waka. Got the great clip here from U-tube. Enjoy, the spirit of this song! This Time For Africa! This time for Hot But Warm Christmas!

How about in Indonesia?

I love this country, I want to belong to this country – Indonesia. But too bad, the government works badly and sadly people still debating about religion with anarchy.

Religion is just a tool to help us to get faith. Religion could be a way to  combine theology, theosophy, and humanity.

Whether you are atheist or believer, God is there still. It is because, both of them bother the existence of God – to believe or to deny.

However, human knows less. So, just enjoy this Christmas Time for anything good – good for all. Express your joy and happiness, and share them with others.

What to say? Dunno. As always. Well, so many things happened as (another) always.

What am I? I am just one whom nationality is Indonesan. I was born in Cirebon, a little town in West Java.

I do what I like to do, not what I’m supposed to do.

I’m about to be a copywriter. Another project from friends.

What surprised me was, felt like a found the old “dead” friend. Her name is Sinta. She has a serious health problem, physyically. But, it doesn’t mean that I like her for her face was similar to Nuri, that old “dead” friend.

The point is, i accepted that old “dead” friend named Nuri is no longer available for me even she was there by the first time I’ was trying to enjoy my life the way I am.

Sinta is the same Cirebon, that made me feel awesome. She speaks Basa Sunda and Basa Cirebon, another lovely thing for me.

So what is love? Still the same for me. It’s neither a verb nor a noun, it’s an adjective I guess – LOL

And this is another path of the life.

When Sinta took the word must, I prefer the word want. That word – want – gimme more energy. Whatever.

Hmmm, missed old friends missed the wonderful past missed so many things.

But, let’s just facing the reality while we keep on dreaming.

Love and shit happens, whatever. I thank Lord for giving me love and shit then.

Rumput di halaman tetangga selalu lebih hijau daripada rumput di halaman sendiri.

Let’s describe the meaning behind.

Rumput means grass. But, the grass is on the yard halaman, and the yard belongs to someone. Grass of other’s yard is more green than own’s yard. What might grass mean?

The point of the meaning is, that we always see other’s life better than our own. And there are reasons bad effect for it.

Life goes by the time goes, and it’s different one to another. When we keep on thinking and feeling, that we’re so deep down frustrated while other’s life seemed to be sooo lucky damn bitch/jerk (it’s just a term, okay?).

Life goes, as the time goes, and life flows, as our mind work. Yea, it’s hard to do. Since, i’m typing this while i’m still a bit trapped in that proverb situation. Meanwhile, once i wrote about this in Bahasa Indonesia for Twentea (check yourselves please, i forgot the link. LOL )

Enough for now. Do your life as you should do. Think, and feel – feel, and think. Listen to the heart, in which The Real You lay.

Anyway… The title of this post was taken from Red Hot Chili Pepper, Otherside. Dunno why. Just like there’s things i miss and need to do. What for? Just for myself. Sounds like selfish way to go, but that is good-enough-choice for the time being.

I write, I love, I broke the hearts, I read, I walk, I go, I come, I get, I lose, I fall, I wake, and much more else. But most of all : I breath still.

Once, I ever wished for friends. Ya, now I got my wish. But, perhaps afterward I forgot to make-friend with myself.  What to do, but loving and accompanying myself. Then, I could love and accompany others.

I’ve been living living with myself this far. How long it would go. Only God knows.
